How to read the hosting estimates
These are illustrative visits, not unique users or guaranteed capacity. The example uses one continuously running 256 MB app, 2 MB of outgoing traffic and 1 CPU-second per visit, with 20% of hosting capacity reserved for other work. Heavy pages, background jobs, builds, large uploads and AI processing can support fewer visits. Storage and email have their own allowances; a hosting estimate does not guarantee database capacity. Your measured usage bars determine when to upgrade.
Early-access allowances are still being validated. Database figures use binary units (1 GB = 1 GiB); storage does not reset. Domain registration/renewal and payment processing fees are separate. Managed AI is not included.
Testing apps
Every app can be deployed for free as a testing app: a public URL on Launchbase hosting with hosting, database and auth, 100 emails in total, no custom domains, for 7 days. Then it is locked (deployment stopped, database snapshotted and kept 30 days) until you go live on a plan, which resumes it exactly where it was. The first testing app needs no card. To run up to three at once, verify a card once: Stripe places a $1 authorization and releases it; nothing is charged.
App capacity
Fixed monthly app plans. No automatic infrastructure overage charges. Upgrade the whole app for more capacity.
Usage shows Hosting, Database, Files and Emails separately, with the closest limit, freshness and reset date. Email limits stop sending. Hosting blocks deployments at its limit and takes the app offline after a $2 grace allowance. A holding page replaces it until capacity or payment is restored. Database storage is monitored while enforcement is being completed. Data and exports remain available.

Connect your own Resend, Stripe and domain today; the plan price stays the same and Launchbase adds no markup on providers you pay directly. Your own Railway workspace and Supabase organization too, on paid plans, connected before provisioning. On paid plans you can also run the app inside your own Railway workspace and Supabase organization.
Domains
Attach a domain you own for free, or buy one at the registrar price with no Launchbase markup, paid from your prepaid balance and approved explicitly each time. Details.
Leaving
Export source, database (portable dump), users and a migration guide any time from the app's Export tab or the request_export tool. Deleting an app cancels the subscription now and retires resources after 30 days.
Where money is decided
Agents can start a checkout, a top-up or a purchase quote; the owner completes every payment in the browser. Every action carries the actor who made it in the audit log.
